Jesus proclaimed in Mat 23:11 But he that is
greatest among you shall be your servant. Also Paul told us in Gal 6:2,3 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Jesus always lead by example so who are we to do less. Fathers Hands is a Charity that has come about to lead the Church back to the true meaning of the Gospel, Grace unto Salvation through service in Love one to another.
Jesus the King of Kings, the Son of God came to us and just before He died on the cross for us He showed His disciples just how far we all should be willing to go in our service to spread the Gospel of Love, Faith & Hope in Grace to the world, by washing their feet.
Modern day Church seems to have lost the true meaning of Deacons today which is servant or attendant. They first were appointed in Acts 6 as the second most important ministry office within the Church. Which was to over see the distribution of charity amongst the poor and needy evenly.
In so doing the Church grow dramatically, Act 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
